Topic: How to Get Your Lump Sum Payment
(instead of getting your payment over a 10-year period)

St. Paul's College Auditorium, 300 College St.

Guest speakers will include Dr. John W. Boyd, Jr., NBFA President, and
a representative of Wachovia Bank, who will be there to make a presentation and answer your questions.
The deadline for setting up your payment option is fast approaching.
Make sure you understand your options for the buyout payment.

You cannot sign up for the Tobacco Buyout at this time because the deadline has already passed.
This meeting is for people who have already signed up for the buyout.

this?

The government will buy out your crop this year, 2005.
After 2005, farmers may not grow tobacco acreage unless under contract with a specific tobacco buyer.
